This is the only hotel near the Shin Aomori Station. It is convenient if you come by shinkansen and rent a car and you want to have a quiet and restful time. Unfortunately, you will need transportation if you want to see the downtown area.

The room was comfortable and quiet and clean. Standard small hotel room with all the standard stuff. Nice bathroom. The price was good and the staff were nice. Best thing is that it is right next to the train station. I was surprised at how good the complementary breakfast was with a wide variety of foods and good coffee. The double bed is closer to what we call twin size, but we both fit OK and slept well. I love firm beds. Easy short train ride to explore Amori downtown area.

Close to Shin-Aomori station so it’s a good choice if you’re taking the shinkansen often. However, besides the restaurants in the train station, they are almost nothing else nearby. Restaurants close early too so plan ahead. However, the hotel is just 2 mins walk from the station. Breakfast is great and spacious. Room is clean, although bed is a bit hard. Staff are friendly.

Standard business hotel right next to Shin-Aomori station, very convenient for travelers who need to be next to the station. Check in was efficient. The breakfast had a decent selection & tasty.

Great value right next to Shin Aomori Station. Quiet, comfortable new hotel. Easy taxi ride to Sannai-Maruyama Jomon site, highly recommend if you are interested in Japanese history. Keep in mind that if you book a twin room at this Toyoko, it will be next to the drone of the elevators. Nice range of Japanese breakfast foods, but no milk or yogurt.

Great location, simple but with everything you need, friendly staff. This is a hotel you stay in for convenience of location, not for an overwhelming hotel experience! But it does a very good job at providing a clean and quite room.

We booked this hotel as a layover before travelling to Kyoto from Hokkaido. This is near the Shin-Aomori station so it was very convenient. The price was great. Unfortunately, we had smoking rooms, but they did not smell that much after we had opened the window for a bit. It is a typical business hotel. but it was clean, friendly and helpful staff and the breakfast was included. So all in all, it’s a great place to stay if you need something close to the shinkansen stations.

It’s right next to Shin-Aomori station. Brand new so very clean and functional. I paid $43 single room so I can only say I’m very happy for what I’ve received and already booked to stay again for winter. A place just to shower/ sleep/ simple freshly cooked breakfast: comfortable.

A bit more spacious than the usual Toyoko Inn in Tokyo

This is a business type of hotel, and so my expectations were not high, but it was actually good. It has everything I needed, hair dryer, electric kettle, small desk. The view from my room (11 F) was also nice (on the mountains) The breakfast is included, which I personally like. I went during the nebuta festival, so it was super crowded, probably fully booked. I had to line up to check in and check out, but I guess this is the price you pay when you come during the matsuri. Very convenient location to come by shinkansen (4 min walk) and also to go to the Sannai Maruyama archeological site and the prefectural museum (special bus Nebuton from the bus stop at Higashiguchi exit, the same as hotel). The train to Aomori station is about 10 min. The train station is actually really nice, there shops and it even has a good restaurant/izakaya style (and sake tasting option!). I left my baggage in the hotel next day for the whole day without problem.
